Shipment Pairing

In today's fast-paced supply chain environment, it's essential to have complete visibility into your shipments, even those that may not have been labeled with a Sensos Label at the point of origin. Sensos Sync offers a powerful feature called "Shipment Pairing" that allows you to connect unlabeled shipments to Sensos Labels, providing you with real-time tracking and data.

How Shipment Pairing Works

1. Scan the Shipment: Use a barcode scanner or other suitable device to scan the barcode or unique identifier on the unlabeled shipment
2. Scan the Sensos Label: Scan the Sensos Label that will be attached to and associated with the shipment.
3. Pair the Shipment: Sensos Sync will automatically pair the unlabeled shipment with the Sensos Label, establishing a connection between the two.

• Returns and Exchanges: Track returned or exchanged items, even if they were not originally labeled with a Sensos Label.

Pairing a Shipment with a Sensos Label in Sync

To ensure accurate tracking and traceability, each shipment must be paired with a Sensos Label in the Sync system. Below is a step-by-step guide to walk you through the entire process of Label pairing.

Go to the “Pending to Pair” Tab

Once a shipment is created, it appears in the Pending to Pair tab of the Sync dashboard.

1. In the All Shipments view, click the Pending to Pair tab (top menu).

2. Find your shipment in the list. You can filter by Reference ID or other shipment details.

Click “Scan to Pair”

1. Click the Scan to Pair button (top right).

2. A prompt will open asking you to enter the shipment Reference ID.

   
   
   

Scan the Sensos Label

1. Using your mobile device or connected scanner, scan the QR code on the Sensos Label.
   Alternatively, you can enter the IMEI manually.

2. Once scanned, the Label will be automatically associated with the selected shipment.
   You will see the shipment status change to Paired in the All Shipments view.
   The label ID and shipment Reference ID will be linked in the shipment card.

Method 2: 

1. Enter the shipment card from the Pending to Pair view.
2. From the 3-dot menu on the top right, choose "Pair Device.
3. A prompt will open asking you to enter the shipment Reference ID.
4. Using your mobile device or connected scanner, scan the QR code on the Sensos Label.
   Alternatively, you can enter the IMEI manually.
5. Once scanned, the Label will be automatically associated with the selected shipment.
   You will see the shipment status change to Paired in the All Shipments view.
   The label ID and shipment Reference ID will be linked in the shipment card.

Pairing Packages and Labels with Mobile Convenience

Sync offers a mobile-friendly solution for pairing packages and labels, allowing you to leverage the convenience of your smartphone or tablet.

This eliminates the need for manual data entry or stationary workstations, enabling you to:

• Scan package barcodes: Simply use your device's camera to scan the barcode on each package.
• Select corresponding labels: The app will automatically suggest compatible labels based on pre-defined pairing rules or allow you to select them manually.
• Pair instantly: With a tap, you can confirm the pairing, ensuring accurate label association with each package.
