Using Natural Language to Filter Shipments in Sensos Sync

Large, complex supply chains generate enormous amounts of shipment data. Too often, users spend valuable time sifting through details just to find what matters. 

With AI Natural Language Filtering, you can cut through the noise. Simply tell LIA what you’re looking for in plain language, and Sync instantly surfaces the shipments that matter most. 

No more guessing which dropdowns to use or spending minutes configuring filter panels - just describe your need, and LIA takes care of the rest.

How it works 

1. Navigate to the All Shipments page.
2. Type your filter request to LIA (e.g., “Show me all shipments with temperature alerts going to Germany”).
3. LIA translates your request into Sync’s structured filters.
4. A visual confirmation of applied filters will appear on screen.
5. You can adjust the filter manually by entering the Filter tab on the left of the screen. 

Examples of Supported Queries 

• “Shipments not from Pfizer and without any alerts” 

• “Find all active shipments where the carrier is not DHL” 

• “Only Cold House 02 shipments currently in Asia” 

• “Exclude humidity breaches” 

• “Show me UPS going to California” 

Tips for Best Use 

• Keep phrasing clear and specific (e.g., “temperature alerts” instead of “problem shipments”). 

• Combine multiple criteria with “and” or “not.” 

• Use plain language. LIA supports multiple languages. 

Limitations (for now) 

• Ambiguous terms (e.g., “bad shipments”) may not apply correctly. 

• If filters look off, convert to manual filtering.
