Single Shipment Report (PDF Export)

The Single Shipment Report feature in Sensos Sync lets you export a structured, branded PDF for any shipment. This is ideal for compliance, auditing, quality assurance, and sharing data with partners or internal teams.

What’s Included in the Report?

The PDF captures a full, static snapshot of the shipment’s lifecycle. It can include:

• Shipment Details

• Item Details
• Shipment Timeline
• Temperature Log
• Humidity Log
• Shock Log
• Security Log
• Alerts (e.g., temperature or humidity excursions, seal breach, shock events)
• Event Log
• Notes
• Shipment Behavior Summary (e.g., average time in transit, alert duration, stop frequency)
• General Summary (e.g., shipment ID, status, origin/destination, assigned devices)
  All data is timestamped and traceable for post-shipment investigation or documentation purposes.
• Header/footer branding:
  Each report features a white-labeled header with your company name/logo, and a footer with:
  • Exact export timestamp
  • Exporting user
  • Location and timezone of export (auto-detected or manually selected)
    This makes the report easily shareable, fully auditable, and compliant with quality or regulatory standards.
• Section selector:
  Users can customize which sections to include in the PDF, depending on the audience or purpose. The selector lets you choose from:
  • Shipment Details
  • Item Details
  • Timeline
  • Temperature / Humidity / Shock / Security Logs
  • Alerts
  • Event Log
  • Notes
  • Shipment Behavior
  • General Summary (always included)
    This ensures the exported report is concise and relevant—whether for QA, compliance, or customer communication.

Exporting a Report

To generate a report:

1. Open a shipment card in Sync.
2. Click “Generate PDF”.
   
3. Select the sections you want to include.
   
4. The report is generated in the background.
5. A notification will alert you once it’s ready.
6. The PDF is auto-downloaded (unless disabled) and saved in the Shipment Documents tab for future access.
   

⚠️ Note: Only users with export permissions (non-Reader roles) can generate shipment reports.
