Disposability Guideline
Sensos Label End-of-Life Instructions
At Sensos, we prioritize sustainability alongside operational efficiency. This article provides important information on responsible disposal practices for your Sensos Labels.
Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and Electronic Waste
The European Union (EU) and many other countries have adopted the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principle. This regulation requires companies to manage the environmental impact of their products throughout their lifecycle, including proper end-of-Life (EOL) disposal.
Sensos Label Disposal: Following Regulations
To comply with EPR regulations, we recommend the following disposal procedure for your Sensos Labels:
- Separate the Label: Carefully remove the Sensos Label from your outer packaging.
- Electronic Waste Stream: Send the Sensos Label to an electronic waste collection facility. These specialized facilities are equipped to handle the proper recycling of electronic components.
- Battery Disposal (if applicable): Depending on the specific label model and regulations in your region, the battery within the label may need separate disposal from the circuit board. Consult with your chosen electronic waste collector for specific guidance.
Simplified Disposal for Non-EU Countries
For countries outside the EU and those not subject to EPR regulations, you can dispose of your Sensos Label in a regular waste bin.
Partnering for Sustainability
