For tracking, monitoring, and optimizing transportation processes, Sensos Sync provides a special alert for shipments that stop in an unauthorized parking area for longer than a predetermined period. This alert helps prevent theft, accidents, and loss of goods.

The alert notifies users of an unauthorized stop, including the timestamp, location, and the nearest authorized site. This type of alert empowers users to contact drivers and correct routes as needed. Managing POIs in Sensos Sync

POIs are managed within Sensos Sync in the same way you manage Sets. You can find more information about creating and managing Sets here.

Creating New POI

When creating a new POI, users can add more information about the POI, like description, contact information, and even operating hours.

Under Set & POIs view, go to the Points of Interest tab and click the "+ New" button on the top right.
Follow the instructions in the pop-up window:

Name your POI and assign it its type from the drop-down menu.
Enter a location and define the permitted radius for that POI.

Click "Create" - and you're all set!
The new point of interest is available on the POIs list.

Additional Information

In the predefined Set, the POI alert is nested under Security. This is where you can manage your alert settings. Once the alert is set, you can manage your POI alerts in the Points of Interest tab. You can also create new POIs, edit existing ones, or remove them.
